Last updated: October 19, 2025
These Terms of Sale of CodeWeb – JordanDev define the terms and conditions for the purchase, access, and refund of products and services offered on the codeweb.app platform. These Terms of Sale apply to all sales of digital content (courses, tutorials, projects, guides) and Premium subscriptions. The Refund Policy, detailed below, is an integral part of these Terms of Sale. By making a purchase on our platform, you expressly and unreservedly accept the conditions set out below.
Preamble: Limitation of Liability
CodeWeb cannot be held responsible in case of server outages, temporary or permanent unavailability of content, or technical issues beyond its direct control. In these situations, an alternative solution will be proposed or a refund granted at our discretion, depending on the circumstances. Payments are securely processed by our payment partner Stripe. Please consult the Stripe policy for more information: https://stripe.com/en/privacy
Article 1: General Principle - Digital Content
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content for which performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and for which the consumer acknowledged waiving their right of withdrawal. By accessing purchased content (courses, tutorials, projects), you expressly waive your right of withdrawal. Any access, even partial, to digital content (online reading, video viewing, file downloads, guide consultation) constitutes performance of the contract, resulting in the definitive waiver of the right of withdrawal.
Article 2: Accepted Refund Cases
CodeWeb may grant a refund in the following situations:
- 2.1 Major Technical Error: If the purchased content has major technical errors preventing its normal use and these errors cannot be corrected within a reasonable time (maximum 72 hours after reporting).
- 2.2 Non-Conforming Content: If the delivered content does not match the description displayed on the product page at the time of purchase.
- 2.3 Double Payment: In case of accidental double billing for the same product, the refund of the duplicate will be processed automatically.
- 2.4 Limitation of Other Reasons: Outside of the cases expressly provided above, no other reason (purchase error, change of mind, lack of interest in the content, personal dissatisfaction, etc.) may give rise to a refund.
Article 3: Premium Subscription
For the Premium subscription, the following conditions apply:
- 3.1 Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refund will be issued for the already paid period.
- 3.2 Trial Period: If a free trial period is offered, you can cancel before the end of this period without being charged. Once the first paid period begins, standard refund rules apply.
- 3.3 Data Deletion: Account deletion or the end of a subscription results in immediate deactivation of access to Premium content and progressive deletion of associated personal data, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Article 4: Refund Request Procedure
To request a refund, please follow this procedure:
- 4.1 Deadline: Subject to the exceptions provided in Article 1, any request must be submitted within 14 days of purchase and before any access to the content. After this deadline or after any consultation of digital content, the legal right of withdrawal is considered permanently forfeited in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
- 4.2 Contact: Send your request by email to contact@codeweb.app specifying: your name, your account email, the product concerned, the purchase date, and the reason for your request.
- 4.3 Processing: We will review your request within 5 business days. If your request is accepted, the refund will be processed via the same payment method used during the order, within 14 business days. No other refund method (credit, cryptocurrency, transfer, etc.) will be accepted.
- 4.4 Confirmation: Any approved refund request will be confirmed by email specifying the estimated execution date and exact refund amount.
Article 5: Disputes and Downloads
In case of a dispute with a user concerning a refund, CodeWeb retains download history for a maximum period of six (6) months, then automatically deleted or anonymized. This data allows verification of whether content has been consulted or downloaded, which affects refund eligibility. This retention is carried out in accordance with our legal obligations and for fraud protection. This data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on the platform.
Article 6: Refund Denial Cases
CodeWeb reserves the right to refuse a refund in the following cases:
- 6.1 Content Consulted or Downloaded: The content has been consulted, viewed, or downloaded, even partially.
- 6.2 Deadline Exceeded: The refund request is made beyond the 14-day deadline following purchase.
- 6.3 Non-Compliance with Procedure: The request does not comply with the procedure established in Article 4.
- 6.4 Abuse or Fraud: Detected abuse or fraud attempt (multiple suspicious requests, abusive behavior, etc.).
- 6.5 History of Previous Refunds: The user has already benefited from multiple refunds on the platform within a short timeframe.
Article 7: Contact and Claims
For any questions regarding our refund policy or to submit a claim, you can contact us at: contact@codeweb.app. In case of an unresolved dispute amicably, you can refer to the European Union online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. In accordance with Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, you can use a consumer mediator free of charge for any dispute not resolved amicably: CNPM Consumer Mediation (www.cnpm-mediation-consommation.eu).
